Map See my full map of every rail line to exist in Calgary here! Trackage coloured pink/magenta indicates the QA Lead
More on the QA Lead The QA Lead continues to have three active customers (all of which are original customers who have been using the line since the early/mid 20th century) and sees frequent use to this day. But at one time, the QA Lead had a bit more character. Until the late 1970s, the QA Lead connected to CN's East Industrial Branch two times at the north and south of the lead (see the above map for reference). The northern connection was removed about 1977 and the south one may have been removed as late as 2006. The CN portion of the south connector is still in use serving the IKO plant, although it does not connect to CP any more.
Oh, and it runs down an alleyway too. It's a really neat line.
